The product
Readeo lets kids and their loved ones read picture books together over video chat, which is perfect for grandparents and parents who travel. It runs on readeo.com, the web app, and native iOS and Android apps.
What I did
I grew from engineer into running engineering. I led seven engineers: organizing work, reviewing code, and unblocking the team. I also worked with leadership on product decisions and acted as head of engineering across the company’s sites and apps.
The big milestone was launching the Readeo app on the App Store and Google Play.
TODO: Fill in the stack, one hard technical problem you solved (video sync? page-turn sync?), and what you changed about how the team worked.
What I learned
TODO: One or two honest lessons about going from IC to lead. Hiring managers love this section.
